About

Graduated in Biology in 2008, I have ever since been working on plant natural product chemistry. Defended my PhD in 2011, I am currently Associate Professor at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”.

Research interests

I am working on natural product chemistry. Interested in plant derived molecules, I am studying them from two main points of view: on one side, I am trying to understand why plants produce these chemicals, on the other side I am looking for bioactive compounds that could be used in several fields (medicine, nutrition, pest management, etc.).

Current position

Since December 2022, I am an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Environmental, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies (DiSTABiF) at University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” .
